A little boy from Georgia had something special happen to him last week, and it'll be cherished forever.
Little Elijiah Swartzentruber received the best Christmas gift that he could get this year--- The chance to meet his sibling be with him for good.
Little Elijiah was adopted back on December 23rd, and it was a gift from his new adoptive family, the Swartzentruber's, that they find his sibling.
Little Elijiah's adoption, was celebrated in a Christmas-like fashion in the courtroom of Dauphin County Judge John Cherry, as he finalized little Elijiah's adoption.
Little Elijah, who was born in Albany, Georgia in 2019, was taken from his parents, who had their first child, a little girl named Amari, who ended up being adopted by the Swartzentruber's.
They were finally reunited with each other, after little Elijiah's adoption on December 23rd.
Now, the Swartzentruber's are two doctor's, who have a family, and reside in Hanover Township, Dauphin County.
Pennsylvania Department of Human Services says that there are more than 3,000 children awaiting adoption, after their parents lost custody of them, for one reason or another.
Now in some cases, children who are adopted into a new caring family, may become separated, due to them being in different homes, but in other cases, they can stay together when they're adopted out.
